Tips To Buy The Best Spotting Scopes

Whether you are a hunter, astronomer or wildlife enthusiast, you may want to try a spotting scope. While a binocular may come in handy, a spotting scope can give you better magnification power. Primarily, these scopes are designed to work at longer distances.

If you want to buy one, we suggest that you consider some important aspects and features. Read on. Objective diameter

For best image quality, we suggest that you consider a scope that comes with a bigger objective lens. This is true especially if you want more details at greater magnifications. However, you need to keep in mind that the lens should be high quality.

If it is not high quality, you may not be able to experience high image quality. Therefore, we suggest that you get a quality product. The size of the lens should not be your only factor when making the purchase decision.

Close focus Close focus is important. According to some users, this should not be a factor to consider, but you have to have a close focus of at least 20 ft or less, especially if you want to use a camera as well.

Eye relief What is eye relief? Actually, it is the distance of your eye from the scope from where you can see the FOV.

Generally, we suggest that you go for the eye relief of a minimum of 14 mm for better view. If you wear thicker eyeglasses, we suggest that you go for a higher number. Tripods

At higher magnifications, you need to keep your hands from shaking otherwise you won’t be able to get a clearer image. For keeping the scope steadier, we suggest that you try a tripod. For lower magnifications, you can manage with monopods or shoulder stocks, but we can’t say so for higher magnification.

Make sure the trip is bigger and heavier. Waterproof quality You don’t have to invest in a scope that is waterproof, but it’s better if you go for one that is not prone to water damage.

Actually, the seals on these scopes offer protection against water, dust and dirt. So, your scope will last longer. For bird watching, we suggest that you go with a device that has a magnification between 20x and 40x.

If you go beyond 40x, know that the FOV will be very narrow, which will not be realistic or convenient. Moreover, the image will be blurry at great distances. Aside from this, you will have to deal with the issues of heat waves at this distance.

For bird watching at dawn or twilight, we suggest that you go for a device that comes with a wider objective lens. It’s a good idea to for one with a 77mm to 82m lens. However, you should keep in mind that the bigger lens will add to the weight of the scope.

So, you may want to be ready to lift a heavy equipment if you are after bigger lenses. So, if you are looking for the best scoping scope for your needs, we suggest that you consider the features given in this article. Hopefully, you will be able to get your hands on the best equipment.

If you are interested in bird watching, you may want to have a spotting scope.

PlayerUnknown Battlegrounds PC update 1.0 with new weapons

Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds players are in for a treat, with the upcoming PC update 1.0 that will add two new weapons into the game which many will agree are well overdue. We haven’t seen any new weapons arrive in the game for a long time but now you’ll be getting the DP-28 light machine gun and also the AUG A3 assault rifle. Those on the Test Build can already preview these weapons, but here is what you have to look forward to as images of both models have already been released.

The DP-28 has a 47-round pan magazine for 7.62mm and can be attached with a 4x scope and sights to take out enemies from a distance. A low firing rate will make up for high damage and we have a feeling it could be the new weapon of choice for a lot of you.

The AUG A3 meanwhile is exclusive to care packages and most of you will know it as the Bullpup rifle which has a high rate of fire and low recoil. Look forward to seeing these rollout into the full version of the game soon, but give us your thoughts on both below. What new weapons are you hoping to see added next into PUBG? Toshiba 55L711U18 55-inch 4K TV review with HDR surprise

We are amazed to see how low, the prices are for 4K TVs on the market at the moment compared to a few years ago when the average consumer had no chance of affording them. Now they are accessible to most households and one model in particular caught our eye after finding out that it is going to be available with a whopping discount. This is the Toshiba 55?

Class LED 4K TV with Chromecast built-in on sale at Best Buy at the end of November for just £279.99 after a £220 price cut. The Toshiba 55L711U18 specs include a 55-inch 4K display, with 3 HDMI inputs, 60Hz native refresh rate, HDCP 2.2 support, 1 SB© USB port and DTS Studio Sound audio quality.

Many of you will be wondering if the Toshiba 55L711U18 is a Smart TV or not since Best Buy’s description is vague and while we can’t say that it is 100% fully smart supported, you can still get access to ‘smart’ apps using the built-in Chromecast feature which will allow you to access apps such as Netflix, YouTube and Spotify – there is no web browser included though as an example of the missing full Smart TV functionality.

However, you will be pleased to hear that the Toshiba 55L711U18 does support HDR or High Dynamic Range. Best Buy and Toshiba don’t do a very good job in including HDR in the TV’s product descriptions, but the feature is there should you want to turn it on – just don’t expect to see higher standards of HDR10 or Dolby Vision as you won’t be getting that on this model.

The fact that HDR is absent on both the official manufacturer listing and Toshiba user manual though is bizarre, but you can clearly see from Best Buy Canada’s listing for the exact same TV that HDR is advertised here as a key feature. With HDR on board, this makes the £279.99 asking price for a 55-inch 4K TV very appealing indeed. If you are interested in making a purchase, head to Best Buy here but first read through the Toshiba 55L711U18 reviews over at Best Buy where this model currently has a 4.3/5 review rating as of November 2017.

This is one way to express your allegiance to Star Wars

OtterBox’s Star Wars cases are currently available for the iPhone 7/8 and iPhone 7 Plus/8 Plus.

Ahead of the December release of “Star Wars: The Last Jedi,” OtterBox has a new collection of Star Wars Symmetry Series cases that will give your iPhone Jedi powers you never knew it had. No, not really. But the cases are pretty cool, if not a little pricey.

You can choose among five “unique designs” for the iPhone 7/8 (£45) and iPhone 7 Plus/8 Plus (£55). Alas, nothing yet for the iPhone X. According to OtterBox, iPhone X Star Wars cases are coming “in early 2018.”

Personally, I’d probably probably go with the “On Ahch-To” or “Storm Trooper” cases.
