Actually that’s no longer the case. Most new phones have both CDMA and LTE which uses SIM cards since LTE is GSM technology.

Their phones can be unlocked for international use to use with another carrier’s SIM.

Nope, only world phones work like that, most boost phones lack hspa+ bands and GSM bands hosting only the LTE bands for Sprint

if boost would allow other CDMA phones on their system that would be a plus BUT they force u to buy their crappy lock down phones..i notice that boost now has voice roaming but u only get 50 mins of roaming per month which is crap…sprint should shut down boost and virgin mobile and fold them into a sprint prepaid with the same prices they have for boost now….

Richard Hawley, tour review: Musical victory for a master of it all …

As Richard Hawley readily admitted by way of introduction to the exquisite Sometimes I Feel, we just stand there and play, there are no circus acrobats . Perhaps desperate to flee London as quickly as possible, the Sheffielder s statuesque band played in their coats and before things could get any more like a White Rose version of Phoenix Nights, Hawley reminded us that there wouldn t be a meat raffle. Usually no stranger to the wry raconteur s art, Hawley was on prickly form, more convincing when berating the audience for their perceived quietness than declaring his love for them. But, as it must for those who just stand there , the music spoke for itself. Hawley s breakthrough, 2005 s Coles Corner, cast him as a modern-day crooner.

Now, though, he s not so much at a crossroads, as a musical Spaghetti Junction. He was quietly lovelorn on I Still Want You; establishing the South Yorkshire Americana embassy on Standing

At The Sky s Edge; peddling gloom on Tuesday PM ( if this one doesn t bring you down, nothing will ); or rocking like a stationary but psychedelic demon almost everywhere else. It could have been a mess, but Hawley was a master of whatever he turned his hand and his band to. Richard Hawley is evolving rapidly, without shedding what made him so enticing in the first place. He didn t seem sure but this was a massive victory.
